Mr Gary Hannant is a British Trained Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon with a Sub-specialist Interest in disorders of the Foot and Ankle. After graduating from the University of London he completed his Basic and Higher Surgical Training in Yorkshire before undertaking Fellowship at MidCheshire Hospitals. He was appointed Consultant at Bradford Teaching Hospitals in 2019 and began his Private Practice in 2021.

Mr Hannant treats all conditions of the Foot and Ankle including

Big toe arthritis- fusions and joint preserving surgeries
Lesser toe deformities
Morton’s neuroma
Plantar Fasciitis
Achilles ruptures and tendonpathies (painful heel, Haglund’s deformity)
Sports injuries- Deltoid and Lateral ligament reconstructions
Osteochondral lesions
Mid and Hindfoot arthritis
Mr Hannant offers bilateral (both feet in one surgical slot) where appropriate.
Medicolegal Work
Mr Hannant is available for medico-legal work in the form of personal injury cases.
Education, Publication and Innovations
Mr Hannant is actively involved with a variety of educational, research and service and patient experience projects.
He is also a member of the British Orthopaedic Association, British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society, Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the Hospital Consultants and Specialists Association.
